To The Editor:
Bronx: In boasting of his new World Trade Center
building's safety, Larry Silverstein forgot to mention one thing: 7
WTC and the new towers will remain exempt, and therefore immune
from all city building and fire codes, just like the old WTC was.
How safe is that? Have Silverstein, Gov. Pataki and the Port
Authority learned nothing from 9/11? Unfortunately, the families of
the victims have learned plenty.
