Fight for Ground Zero

To the Editor:
Wall Township, N.J.: On behalf of a 9/11 victim's
family, I thank the Daily News and its readers for their strong
stand against the Port Authority's outrageous behavior.
It is time for Gov. Pataki to end the reign of
terror that the PA has perpetrated on the lives of New Yorkers.
Most horrifying is the thought of another World Trade Center
being built that will, once again, be immune from building and
fire codes.
We must never let this happen again. Take the PA
out of Ground Zero. This greed-fueled, duplicitous ogre must be
stopped. The WTC site represents New York. Give jurisdiction over
it back to the people of New York City once and for all.
